Preliminary Report on Environmental Effects of Antennas on Water Tower
The Nassau County Police Department intends to implement a new radio
communications system, county-wide, with connections to the nearby counties,
fire departments, departments of public works, and other emergency responders.
These inter-connections will provide a level of inter-operability that has been
lacking during such past emergencies as the Avianca crash, the Bayville flooding
of 1992, 1993 and the World Trade Center attack of 2001. Click Here to read
